The twin, over-the-top, matte-black-with-thin-red-trim racing stripes harken to the Shelby Mustangs of old. Red-painted Brembo®-branded brake calipers and cross-drilled rotors are easily visible through the open-wheel design. The Shelby’s exterior paint work has been professionally ceramic-coated. This GT350 R could’ve just rolled out of a Ford-dealer showroom.
Inside, the same “unblemished” descriptor applies to every surface, all executed in black with tasteful red accents and brushed-metal enhancements. Recaro-branding in red accents the black, very well-bolstered racing seats (with suede inserts); red stitching and red “R” embroidery on the headrests add more visual “pop.” Door-trim design echoes this look, including the red accent stitching. Factory black carpeting remains in excellent condition. The purposeful, driver-focused dash and instruments are in perfect condition and are framed by the cobra-emblem steering wheel. Dash “GT350 R” badging includes the car’s chassis number. Every feature works as it should; every graphic or switch-identifier—including on the console-mounted 6-speed manual shifter with red shift-pattern inlay—is without wear.
